Coffee in the United States is served by three kinds of places: national chains with drive-thrus and mobile ordering, independent neighborhood cafes that double as a workspace or a meeting spot, and specialty shops that roast their own beans or buy single-origin lots and brew them by pour-over, espresso or cold brew. Most open between 6 and 7 a.m. on weekdays, slightly later on weekends, and the busiest hour is the commute rush before 9. A drip coffee runs a few dollars, espresso drinks and specialty pours more, and tipping a dollar or a percentage on the card reader is customary but not required. Nearly every cafe offers free Wi-Fi, though some limit laptop seating at peak times or on weekends, and outlets are often the scarce resource.

The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. The most common schedule is 7 am–3 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday, Sunday. What a vibe! I've been to Sola a few times over the years when visiting friends in Raleigh, but I had not remembered how good it was, OR it's gotten better... One of the two. I had the special, which was a banh mi breakfast sandwich, which had eggs, cheddar, bacon, pickled veggies & a peanut chili sauce. Absolutely slapped!!! So good. Couldn't decide between a cappuccino and a peach lemonade, so I had both and the coffee was fine, but the lemonade was the best and freshest I'd maybe ever had with chunks of peach floating around in it... Divine. My husband had the greystone and couldn't stop raging about the maple Sriracha sauce, which I stole a taste of and yeah... Worth the rave! So much space to sit inside and outside, and we were there at 10am on a Friday, when there was a steady line out the door the entire time. That being said... Everything came out extremely quickly, especially for being so busy, which I was impressed by. Thanks, Sola!

Great cafe. They have delicious donuts and their aΓ§aΓ bowl is one of my favorites. Very busy almost always so we get it to go typically. The line does move pretty fast and there’s plenty of parking.

Absolutely fantastic spot! The food is delicious, and the coffee is just as good. We tried the honey lavender coffee (iced AND hot. Both were incredible) along with a couple of their lunch sandwiches, everything was excellent. We got the chicken with pesto (i dont remember the name), and the caprese. I’m already looking forward to coming back to try their breakfast menu. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the baristas clearly know what they’re doing. The overall vibe is great, too; comfortable, relaxed, and welcoming. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, making it a perfect place to hang out or even get some work done. And don’t skip the donuts, they’re definitely worth it!

Absolutely love this place for brunch. Theres so much seating, dog and kid friendly. Food was good, coffee is even better, and you must get their hot donuts!! Definitely recommend for a weekend brunch. It does get packed and a line starts to form after 9 am on the weekend but there’s lots of seating.

The ambience here is really good, with plenty of indoor seating and a large outdoor area that’s perfect for relaxing. The coffee is strong and well-made β€” definitely a highlight. However, they don’t offer croissants or much in terms of small bakery items, which would have been a nice addition. Overall, it’s a great spot for coffee and atmosphere, but the food selection is a bit limited
